Future of Beauty is a sub brand of The Pull Agency, a platform where leading voices in the health and beauty space share forward thinking perspectives. When I joined the project, the podcast was still at concept stage. My role was to develop a visual identity that could stand independently while remaining clearly connected to Pull’s established brand.

The brief was simple.
Create a podcast identity that feels like Pull, but different.

Pull’s visual language is bold and geometric, built on strong structure and precision. In contrast, podcasts are fluid, conversational and human. The challenge was to bridge these two qualities, creating something that retained the clarity of the parent brand while introducing a sense of movement and expression.

Rather than introducing an entirely new system, I evolved Pull’s existing graphical language. Geometric forms became the foundation for a more dynamic element, developing into an abstract soundwave that could shift, layer and respond. This created a visual link between structured design and the unpredictable nature of conversation.

The concept was pushed further through the idea of disruption. Solid shapes intersected with outlined forms, creating moments of tension and interruption within the system. This reflected the type of conversations the podcast aimed to encourage, challenging norms within the beauty industry.

To reinforce themes of speaking and listening, I introduced cut out imagery of mouths and ears as focal elements within the compositions. These provided a clear visual cue while adding character to the overall identity.

The final result is a flexible system that extends the Pull brand while introducing a more expressive layer. It brings movement, energy and a sense of audio driven storytelling to the Future of Beauty podcast, setting the tone for a platform built on bold ideas and industry perspective.
